Overview
Cisco Catalyst 3850 series switches provide capabilities that are ideally suited to support the convergence of wired and wireless access. It can be managed using a web interface or the command-line interface (CLI). Cisco Catalyst 3850 series WS-C3850-48XS-F-S switches support SFP+ transceivers, 48 ports that support up to 10G, 4 QSFP ports that support up to 40G, and a 750WAC back-to-front power supply. Further, Catalyst 3850 series WS-C3850-48XS-F-S switches are recommended to set up secure passwords for the switch's login and enable and configure access control lists (ACLs) to restrict network access. These switches come with features like TrustSec for access control, MACsec for data encryption, and Cisco's Identity-Based Networking Services (IBNS) for robust security.
