Overview
Cisco ASR1002-X Service Router has a processor to control planes embedded to control the exposure of traffic through the network and the carrier card which is designed for I/O modules. ASR1002-X delivers 2 Rack Unit chassis with default 5G system bandwidth which is upgradable to 10G, 20G and 36G bandwidth range. ASR1002-X provides 6 x SFP built in ethernet ports for connectivity and 2.13 GHz Dual Core router processor. It only works on Redundancy Software which can be purchased separately. Cisco ASR1002-X includes 1 ESP Cisco slot, Integrated with ASR 1000 SIP10 line card which is unupgradable. The ASR1002-X has DRAM 4GB shared across memory and 8 GB flash memory with 3 SPA shared adapter slots. Cisco ASR1002-X router is similar to ASR1002-X= which is the spare one.
